The Bird’s Nest Leslie Fern is characterised by wavy-edged fronds with the curly tip that grow out of a nest-like crown. They do well in low-medium light, watered weekly. It comes in a 140 mm plastic nursery pot.
This houseplant is pet-friendly!
BRIGHTNESS- Birds nest fern grows best in Shade to indirect low light areas.
WATERING- Fern loves moist but not soggy soil, water around base of plant.
FEED – Use balanced liquid fertiliser, diluted to half or less strength. Fertilise during the spring or summer months only and 2 -3 times a year will do.
REPOTTING- Since the bird’s nest fern is naturally epiphytic, its root mass doesn’t grow large enough for it to require repotting to prevent root constriction.
